More than 20 years ago, Laurie decided to become a contributing journalist to her small, high school publication called the Tiger Transcript. It was then she realized she had a passion for communication, and her love of story-telling began. Over the years, her fondness for telling stories has only intensified and is apparent in any conversation she has or client she represents.

Laurie is a mother of three, a lifelong Boston Bruins fan and absolutely adores winter.  Lovers of all things “green,” her family recycles just about everything. She enjoys quality time with her family, traveling and exceptional chocolates.

Laurie is currently completing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Internet Marketing with a specialization in Social Media from Southern New Hampshire University. A self-proclaimed social media “guru,” she completed a Graduate Certificate in Social Media Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University in 2015 and is certified in Google Analytics, HubSpot Inbound Marketing and Google Adwords.

Laurie earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Salem State University (SSU) where she focused on Public Relations, served as the Historian for the SSU Public Relations Society of America (PRSSA) and was inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society.

An avid blogger about all things public relations and social media, her insight and writings have been featured in, PR Week, poll questions and other industry publications.
